We are excited to tell you about REI’s new health and wellness program – Healthy Merits! The goal of the program is to help you become healthier by establishing smart and easy habits to last a lifetime. Employees enrolled on the medical plan have been given this simple challenge. All of the activities listed below are required to be completed in order for an employee to be eligible for the 20% medical premium credit for the 2022 plan year. Let’s get started!

Required Healthy Merits Program Elements
Your first challenge is to register for all the resources you’ll need. There are several steps to register and it all works together to help you get to the big picture.
REI Wellness Program
Required Activity - Register on Meritain Website
REI is excited to begin a new partnership with Meritain Health as the administrator of its Medical coverage.
You will need to register for the Meritain site by March 31, 2021 to qualify for the 20% decrease in insurance premium for 2022.

Required Activity - Register on the Health Merits Portal
You will need to register for the Healthy Merits portal by January 31, 2021 to qualify for the 20% decrease in insurance premium for 2022.

For First Time Access:
- Click on the “Healthy Merits Portal” link above
- Click on “Don’t have an account? Register“
- Complete the required information. For “Unique ID“, use the “Member ID” found on your Meritain insurance card as shown below
- Click “Register“
- Verify your address via the email you receive. Please note: After you register, you will receive an email asking you to verify your email address. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder for this email. Your registration is not complete until you verify your address through this email.
Required Activity - AgeGage Health Assessment
After having registered for the Healthy Merits Portal, simply log in and click on “AgeGage” to get started.
You will need to complete the assessment by March 31, 2021 to qualify for the 20% decrease in insurance premium for 2022.

Required Activity - Annual Preventive Care Visit
After having registered for the Healthy Merits Portal, simply log in and click on “AgeGage” to get started.
You will need to complete the visit and submit an attestation of having completed it by September 30, 2021 to qualify for the 20% decrease in insurance premium for 2022.

Required Activity - Flu Shot or Healthy Merits Course
You will need to either get a flu shot and provide an attestation of having received it, or complete one course in the Healthy Merits portal by October 31, 2021 to qualify for the 20% decrease in insurance premium for 2022.
Option 1 – Flu Shot:
Receive a flu shot from your primary care physician, or any walk-in location providing flu shots. Once you have received your shot, please complete and submit the attestation form below.

Option 2 – Healthy Merits Course:
Log into the Healthy Merits portal and select any of the offered courses. Once completed, the system will automatically register that you have completed the course and fulfilled the requirement for the 20% discount on 2022 premiums.
